STRASBOURG, March 8 (Itar-Tass) – Debates on the industrial heritage in Europe, and on reinforcing the selection processes for experts of key Council of Europe human rights monitoring mechanisms, will feature on the agenda of the Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) at its meeting in Paris on Friday, March 8.
After the opening of the meeting by PACE President Jean-Claude Mignon, the parliamentarians will hold an exchange of views with Ambassador Janez Lenarcic, Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights. They will then discuss the recent parliamentary elections in Monaco.
At the end of the meeting, the parliamentarians will be received by Claude Bartolone, Speaker of the French National Assembly, the PACE said.
