7 die, 1 injured in Primorye Territory road accident

Investigators, experts and road police are working at the scene

VLADIVOSTOK, March 7 (Itar-Tass) - Seven people were killed and one was injured in the Primorye Territory on Wednesday evening in a head-on collision between two cars, regional police told Itar-Tass.

"The accident occurred at the 496th kilometer of the Khabarovsk-Vladivostok highway in the Spassky district at 23:07, Moscow time. A Toyota Corolla drove into an incoming lane and collided with a Toyota Carina. Two men in Toyota Corolla, and four men and one women in the Toyota Carina were killed. A Toyota Corolla passenger was hospitalized in critical condition.

Investigators, experts and road police are working at the scene.

The authorities have begun the identification of the fatalities.
