Putin signs decree increasing social allowances to full-time parents of disabled children

Such allowances has been fixed at 5,500 roubles

NOVO-OGARYOVO, February 26 (Itar-Tass) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said he had signed a decree increasing by more than 4.5 times social allowances to full-time parents of disabled children under 18 years of age or group one persons disabled from childhood regardless of the age.

“Such allowances has been fixed at 5,500 roubles They will be paid starting from January 1, 2013 along with children’s pensions, which will be increased as well,” Putin said at a meeting of the council of national projects and the demographic policy.
