VLADIVOSTOK, February 26 (Itar-Tass) – Planned aviation exercises, involving missile firing and bomb dropping at ground and sea targets, started in Russia’s Eastern Military District on Tuesday.

“The exercises will last until the end of the week. They will involve frontline aircraft and army helicopters,” Lieutenant-Colonel Alexander Gordeyev, the press service chief of the Eastern Military District, said. .

One of the tasks is to check the integration and proficiency of actions of aircraft and ground crews in guiding planes at targets in a quickly changing situation and under the impact of enemy radio-electronic means.
