MOSCOW, February 25 (Itar-Tass) – Russian sailors in Nigeria have been released against the Russian Embassy’s guarantees, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday, February 25.
“The Federal Court of Lagos on February 25 upheld the appeal filed by the Russian Embassy in Nigeria for a release, against its guarantees, of 15 Russian sailors, who are crewmembers of the Myre Seadiver owned by Moran Security Group, which provides the services of armed escort for commercial cargoes in pirate-prone areas of the world’s oceans,” the ministry said.
