Cuban parliament reelects Raul Castro as Head of State

The decision was taken by the newly elected parliament members at their first meeting after the Feb 3 elections

HAVANA, February 25 (Itar-Tass) - Cuba's National Assembly of People's Power (unicameral parliament) on Sunday re-elected Raul Modesto Castro Ruz as Head of the State Council -- the supreme collegiate executive power body.

The decision was taken by the newly elected parliament members at their first meeting after the Feb 3 elections at the Palace of Congresses here.
