Ex-adviser to the governor of Murmansk region detained on suspicion of embezzlement

MOSCOW, February 14 (Itar-Tass) - The former adviser to the governor of the Murmansk region has been detained on suspicion of complicity to multi-billion embezzlement, a Russian Interior Ministry source told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

Gennady Shubin, the former adviser to the governor of the Murmansk region, was detained on suspicion of fraud in huge amounts under article 91 of the Russian Penal Code, the Interior Ministry said.
