NAZRAN, February 13 (Itar-Tass) - Bear's-garlic picker Ilez Tsurov, 13, who was wounded by an explosion in the forest, will be airlifted from the Republic of Ingushetia to Moscow for treatment.
A plane of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies has already landed at Magas airport to pick up the heavily wounded boy and bring him to Moscow, Ingushetia's Health Minister Beslan Matiyev told Itar-Tass.
Five young villagers from Ali-Yurt, Nazran District of the Republic, with Ilez Tsurov among them, went to the forest to pick wild leek on Feb 9. When they went three kilometres away from the village, an explosive device went off in the forest, wounding all the five pickers. Two boys were sent home after receving first aid. Another two are in the traumatology ward of the Republican clinical hospital. Ilez Tsurov has been in the hospital's intensive therapy ward. As was reported earlier, the boy had sustained a heavy leg wound.
