MOSCOW, February 11 (Itar-Tass) – Vorkutaugol prepares payments to those who died and were injured as a result of the blast at the Vorkutinskaya mine, its representative, Yevgeny Sukharev, told Itar-Tass.
“The company will cover all expenses to organise the commemorative ceremonies. The families of dead miners will be paid at least three months’ salaries and an annual earning for every family member. In addition, the company will pay to families of dead persons at the amount of one million roubles as compensation in compliance with the existing Territorial Agreement,” Sukharev said.
