Ten people die, three injured in Vorkutinskaya mine blast

During the blast, a total of 259 people were under the ground

MOSCOW, February 11 (Itar-Tass) – Ten people have died and three people have been injured during the blast at the Vorkutinskaya mine in Komi, head of the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Rescue Forces Department Alexander Sin said on Monday.

“During the blast, a total of 259 people were under the ground. A total of 26 people were in the emergency area. The bodies of ten dead people were found. Three people were injured and two of them were hospitalised,” Sin said.
