Kremlin says dismissal of N Caucasus Resorts head is not inconstancy

The main thing is to make it so that whatever delays are compensated,” Peskov said

MOSCOW, February 9 (Itar-Tass) – Dismissal of the North Caucasus Resorts’ Head and Vice President of the national Olympic Committee Akhmed Bilalov should not be considered as a campaign or inconstancy, presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told Itar-Tass on Saturday.

“The president is satisfied with the preparations for the Olympic Games in Sochi, which is the main conclusion of the two-day inspection,” he said. “The amounts of work are so huge, that certain times delays are difficult to avoid there.”

“The main thing is to make it so that whatever delays are compensated,” Peskov said. “Along with the understanding that somebody is to be responsible for a delay.”

At the same time, the press secretary said that during the inspection in Sochi Putin paid attention to an incorrect position, which Bilalov had – being a top official of the Olympic Committee and at the same time a contractor of the Committee.

“It is none of a campaign,” the press secretary said.
