One wounded in brawl with shooting in Moscow

The man is hospitalized

MOSCOW, February 8 (Itar-Tass) - One man was wounded in a brawl with shooting in central Moscow overnight. The man is hospitalized, the Moscow police press service said on Friday.

A conflict broke out between two groups of people in the Oliva restaurant at Smolensky Boulevard at 01:15. A firearm was used in the brawl, a police source said.

All the participants escaped before police arrived on the scene, but later a report was received that unidentified persons brought a man to a hospital. The man aged about 32 has bullet wounds in the left and right hips.

An inquiry is launched into the case. Police ask witnesses to call the "02" telephone police service, the source added.
