IRKUTSK, February 8 (Itar-Tass) – Police in Russia’s Irkutsk Region are conducting a search for an 11-year-old girl who has disappeared in the town of Shelekhov.
UIyana Alexeyeva left home for optional classes at the local Creativity Home at about 17:00 on Thursday, February 7. Noone has seen her since then and her whereabouts are unknown, the regional office of the Russian Investigation Committee said.
A criminal case has been opened on charges of “Murder”.
The girl is from a good family and has never run away before. “The whole town police force has been mobilised. Law enforcers are making door-to-door calls, checking transport hubs and trying to find witnesses,” the regional office of the Russian Investigation Committee said.
