MAKHACHKALA, February 7 (Itar-Tass) - A police car has come under fire near the Bairamaul village in the Khasavyurt district of Dagestan, a representative of the investigative department of the Russian Investigation Committee branch for Dagestan told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
According to him, the incident occurred at around 16:30 Moscow time. The policemen returned fire killing one attacker and wounding another one.
No police casualties have been reported, the Russian Investigation Committee says. Investigators working at the scene are establishing the incident’s circumstances.
