YEREVAN, February 5 (Itar-Tass) – An Armenian presidential candidate, Paruir Airikyan, who was wounded in a homicide attempt last Friday, made a surprise appearance at a news conference organized for his representatives on Tuesday.
"Let everybody know that no terror strike can unsettle the Armenian political life,” Airikyan said, adding that each of his supporters knew what to do to strengthen the internal stability.
"They did not try to kill me but the ideas which I want to make the property of my people. They include democracy, sovereignty, independence, self-determination and human rights,” Airikyan said.
