MOSCOW, February 2 (Itar-Tass) – The police have released all the fans, who were detained for the provocation after an ice hockey game at the TsSKA stadium in Moscow, press service of the Moscow police said on Saturday.
“Against 61 detainees, the police have filed administrative materials for minor hooliganism and for being drunk in a public place,” the press service said. “With the rest, we have talked and let them go.”
Materials against one of the detained have been passed to the Investigative Committee for a decision on whether to open a criminal case on charges of using force against the police (article 318 of the Russian Criminal Code).
On Friday, Moscow’s police detained more than 100 fans after an ice hockey match at the TsSKA stadium between the teams of TsSKA and Spartak. “At about 22:00 Moscow time on Friday, a group of aggressively-disposed fans stages a provocation after a hockey match at the TsSKA stadium in Leningradsky Anevue. They threw stones and bottles at police officers,” the police spokesman said.
According to the spokesman, several policemen were injured. One was hospitalized with a head injury. “More than 100 hooligans were detained. They will be taken to police stations to be brought to administrative liability,” the spokesman said and added that a criminal case might be opened on charges of using force against police
