MOSCOW, February 1 (Itar-Tass) - Kirov region governor Nikita Belykh is questioned in the case over the theft of Urzhym distillery shares, Investigative Committee /SK/ spokesman Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Friday.
The probe into the theft of a 25.5 percent stake in the Urzhum distillery belonging to the state is continuing. "The investigators of the SK's main office are questioning governor Nikita Belykh within the framework of the criminal case, with the view of ascertaining the circumstances of the alienation of a package of shares that belonged to the Kirov region government, at an understated price," Markin said.
He underlined that Belykh would also be questioned within another criminal case, over the theft of funds of the political party Union of Right Wing Forces.
