MOSCOW, January 31 (Itar-Tass) – Flight tests of the new carrier rocket - Angara were started on Wednesday, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told journalists on Thursday. “Yesterday the Angara flight tests were started,” he said.
The carrier rocket is specially designed for the launch from the Vostochny spaceport that is currently under construction. “By 2015 we plan to launch a light Angara rocket from the Vostochny cosmodrome,” said Rogozin.
