Police searching office of Kirov region governor in property theft case

Nikita Belykh will be questioned about the issues in which the investigators are interested

MOSCOW, January 29 (Itar-Tass) - A search is underway at the office of Kirov region governor Nikita Belykh within the criminal case over theft of property of the Urzhum distillery, Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass.

"To find documents on the alienation of more than 90 million dollars of shares at understated price, which earlier belonged to the regional government, the SK personnel, assisted by police and agents of the Federal Security Services are searching the office of Kirov region governor Nikita Belykh. He will be questioned about the issues in which the investigators are interested," Markin said.
