MOSCOW, January 28 (Itar-Tass) – President Vladimir Putin congratulated Milos Zeman on his election as the new Czech president.
People in Russia know Zeman as an advocate of stronger friendship between the two countries, Putin said and expressed hope for further development of the political dialogue and constructive cooperation in the interests of the Russian and Czech peoples, stability and mutual trust in Europe.
Putin wished Zeman success in his work, the presidential press service said on Monday, January 28.
