VLADIVOSTOK, January 25 (Itar-Tass) — An earthquake measuring 4.2 struck northern Sakhalin overnight. The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km in the region of the city of Okha, the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk seismological station reported.

No serious tremours were felt in Okha, as the epicenter was 95 km northwest of the residential area, the city's department for emergencies told Itar-Tass. There were no negative consequences in the city.
