Police chiefs fired in several Moscow districts

The results of their work were found unsatisfactory

MOSCOW, January 23 (Itar-Tass) — A number of Moscow district police chiefs have been dismissed from their posts on Wednesday, the press service of the Moscow Head Interior department said.

"Chief of the Moscow Head Interior Department Anatoly Yakunin has dismissed a number of district police chiefs at a meeting of the Board of Moscow Head Interior department on Wednesday," the press service said.

Police chiefs of the Filyovsky Park in the west of Moscow, Kurkino district in the northwest of Moscow, Konkovo district in the west of Moscow, Ostankino district in the northeast of the city and a deputy police chief of the Severny district in the north of Moscow have been dismissed from their posts because the results of their work were found unsatisfactory, the press service said.

The Interior police chief of the Vostochny district in the east of Moscow, who retained his post, has been strictly reprimanded for poor work, it said.
