MOSCOW, January 23 (Itar-Tass) – The State Duma received a request from the Russian general prosecutor to strip deputy from the Communist Party of Russia Konstantin Shirshov of deputy immunity.

“The request signed by Yuri Chaika was submitted to permit the stripping of Shirshov of deputy immunity for involvement in the criminal case as a defendant,” deputy head of the staff of the lower house of parliament Yuri Shuvalov told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
