MOSCOW, January 21 (Itar-Tass) — One person was killed and ten others were injured as a heavy duty truck rammed a passenger bus in Russia’s Samara region, a spokesman for the Russian interior ministry told Itar-Tass on Monday.
According to the spokesman, the accident took place at about 09:00 Moscow time on Monday at the 115th kilometer of the Samara-Ulyanovsk highway. “According to preliminary data, the truck driver lost control of the vehicle and ran into a bus with pilgrims. The bus driver was killed, ten pilgrims were injured,” the spokesman said.
An investigation is underway.
