MOSCOW, January 18 (Itar-Tass) — Four people were injured in a chain of road accidents on the Don federal highway in the southern Rostov region, in which 20 vehicles collided all in all in dense fog earlier on Friday, a source from the press service of the Avtodor state road building company told Tass.
The chain of road accidents due to dense fog and the violation of traffic rules by drivers occurred near the towns of Chakhty and Novoshakhtinsk after 12:30 pm, Moscow time, on Friday. “All in all 20 vehicles collided in these road accidents and four people were injured,” the source said.
The section of the highway has been already reopened for traffic.
