NALCHIK, January 16 (Itar-Tass) — The gang of gunmen is blocked in a residential house on the outskirts of the city Tyrnyauz in the Russian North Caucasus Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria on Wednesday morning, a source in the republican law enforcement agencies told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
The anti-terrorist operation regime was introduced at 09:00 Moscow time in this city, the operational headquarters reported earlier. “Head of the Federal Security Service department in Kabardino-Balkaria Maj. Gen. Sergei Kamenny ordered to carry out an anti-terrorist operation and introduce the legal regime of the anti-terrorist operation in Tyrnyauz in order to avert terrorist actions, search and detain members of the gang,” the republican operational headquarters explained.
During the anti-terrorist operation on the foresaid territory several special measures and temporary restrictions will be in effect until the special orders.
