About 4,000 policemen to guard law and order during opposition march in Moscow

MOSCOW, January 13 (Itar-Tass) – About 4,000 policemen will guard law and order during an opposition march scheduled to take place in central Moscow on Sunday. The demonstrators will protest against the Duma-imposed ban on adoption of Russian children by American citizens, the press service of the Moscow police department told Itar-Tass.

Up to 20,000 demonstrators are expected participate in the action that will kick off at the intersection of the Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street with the Stastnoy Boulevard at 130:00 and will end at Academician Sakharov Prospect at 16:30 Moscow time.

Forty-six metal detectors will be used to ensure the passage to the march.

The Moscow police have warned that any attempts of unlawful actions will be curbed and punished in strict compliance with the law.
