IRKUTSK, January 12 (Itar-Tass) - Cars loaded with coal derailed in the Irkutsk Region on Saturday.

The accident occurred on the Transsib main line of the East Siberian Railway. Twenty two cars with coal of a 66-car freight train derailed and collided with a passing locomotive.

According to the preliminary information, two people died in the accident. Traffic in both directions is halted. Three repair trains are sent to the site.

Passenger trains may be delayed on the railroad.
