No casualties reported in fire at neuropsychological child clinic in Krasnoyarsk territory

The fire with a heavy smoke in the building broke out at about 19:30 local time (15:30 Moscow time)

KRASNOYARSK, January 10 (Itar-Tass) — No casualties were reported in the fire, which broke out at a neuropsychological children’s clinic in the city Lesosibirsk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on Thursday. Thanks to efficient actions of the clinic’s personnel, 93 patients of the children’s home were evacuated to the neighbouring building of the clinic.

The emergency rescuers succeeded to put out the fire on the first floor of the building quickly, the press service of the regional emergency situation department told Itar-Tass.

The press service of the territorial police department explained that the fire with a heavy smoke in the building broke out at about 19:30 local time (15:30 Moscow time). “The road police patrols were placed urgently at the fire site and provided for the free access of the rescue services to the incident site,” the police explained.

The team of detectives began the investigation in the fire case.
