This will help to increase efficiency of the Navy’s tasks in all water zones within the framework of different joint operations

MOSCOW, January 6 (Itar-Tass) — The Russian Navy will get around 80 support vessels until 2016, a Navy spokesman told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

“The pace at which the shipbuilding programme as concerns modernization of support ships develops makes it possible to forecast that until 2016 the Navy will get around 80 support vessels of different class and purpose,” he said.
