TOMSK, January 6 (Itar-Tass) — Russian Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov and Regional Development Minister Igor Slyunyayev have arrived with an inspection in the Tomsk Region.
The special plane landed at Bogashevo airport at 05:50 MSK. The ministers will check the readiness of the housing and utilities facilities and the life support facilities for operation in heavy frost conditions.
In addition, the minister of emergency situations will check the readiness of the forces and means to respond to different types of threats of natural and man-made disasters, as well as in the sphere of fire safety.
After the Tomsk Region the ministers will visited several other Russian regions.
