Car clash on Moscow-Kaluga road claims two lives, leaves five injured

All the injured have been taken to hospitals

MOSCOW, January 4 (Itar-Tass) — A road accident involving a clash of a small car, an ambulance and a minibus that occurred Friday night on the Moscow-Kaluga automobile road inside what is now known as the territory of the New Moscow claimed two lives and left another five people injured, the press service of the Moscow City Department of the Interior said in a report.

“According to preliminary information, the road accident that occurred at the 33rd kilometer of the Moscow-Kaluga automobile road at around 16:30 involved three vehicles – a small car, an ambulance and a share taxicab,” the report said. “As a result of the collision, two persons died and another five received injuries.”

“All the injured have been taken to hospitals,” the department said.

At the time of reporting, a team of road police experts was working at the site of the accident and an inquiry into its causes had been opened.
