Over one thousand people left without heating in Komi - EMERCOM

Repairing works are underway

MOSCOW, January 2 (Itar-Tass) —— Over one thousand people are left without heating in Komi, the regional branch of Russia’s EMERCOM said on Wednesday.

“Today, at 19:20 Moscow time in Kadzherom settlement, a pipeline exploded,” the source said. The accident stopped heating supplies to 78 apartment buildings, where about 1,300 people live.

Repairing works are underway.

Russia’s Komi Republic is situated to the west of the Ural mountains, in the north-east of the East European Plain.
