Assassination of North Ossetia deputy mufti condemned

The imam was shot dead in the village of Chmi outside Vladikavkaz on Wednesday

NAZRAN, December 28 (Itar-Tass) —— The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, expressed condolences to his North Ossetian counterpart Taimuraz Mamsurov and to North Ossetian mufti Khadzhimurat Gatsalov over the tragic death of North Ossetian deputy mufti Ibragim Dudarov, a source in the press service of the head of Ingushetia told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

“Assassinations of people who promote spirituality and the establishment of peace and accord in society are most heinous deeds,” Yevkurov stressed. “Those who don’t want peace and stability in the region are behind this crime,” he said.

The imam was shot dead in the village of Chmi outside Vladikavkaz on Wednesday.
