Three die, seven injured in Kaluga region road accident

A mini-bus collided head-on with an articulated truck

KALUGA, December 26 (Itar-Tass) — Three persons died and another seven were injured when a mini-bus collided with a truck in the Borovsk district, Kaluga region, on Wednesday. The road accident occurred at the 97th kilometer of the M-3 highway "Ukraine," the press service of the regional department of the Emergency Situations Ministry told Itar-Tass.

"The mini-bus en route Balabanovo-Obninsk collided head-on with an articulated truck at 11:41, Moscow time," the press service said.

The injured were rushed to hospital # 38 of the town of Obninsk. Police are looking into the cause of the crash.
