Threatening with the gun and claiming for having an explosive device, a 46-year-old resident of the Medyn district, took hostage two female employees of the bank on Saturday afternoon at the bank office on the Victory Square in Kaluga. The third female employee managed to go up unnoticed on the second floor and inform about the hostage taking by phone. The hostage taker demanded 15 million roubles and a car, but the hostages were released and the man was injured in the leg in the special police operation.
