MOSCOW, December 19 (Itar-Tass) — Spokesman for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov has commented on an initiative put forward by several Duma factions which asked to adopt a bill which bans adoptions of Russian children by U.S. citizens.
"Such a tough and emotional reaction of the Russian parliamentarians is quite understandable. Of course, the position of the executive authorities is more reserved, but, taking into consideration the notorious anti-Russia acts President Putin regards the position assumed by the Russian legislators with understanding," Peskov said.
