MOSCOW, December 18 (Itar-Tass) —— The European Union does not intend to join the Magnitsky list now, Russian Permanent Representative in the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said during the Moscow-Brussels video bridge here on Tuesday.
“At the level of the European Union no practical actions have been taken yet. Some opinions are voiced on the problem in the national parliaments of several EU countries and several EU deputies also voiced their opinions on it,” he said.
Heated debates over this problem will continue, Chizhov noted. But no concrete decisions were taken yet, he said.
