Moscow’s opposition rejects protest march routes offered by city authorities

Earlier in the day, the city authorities offered three possible routes for the march, neither of them traversing Moscow’s central squares

MOSCOW, December 11 (Itar-Tass) —— The Opposition Coordination Council has rejected all possible routes for an opposition march of December 15 suggested by the Moscow city authorities, Vladimir Tor, a Council member, told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

“There will be no coordinated action. We have failed to agree in with the Mayor’s Office. So, we shall see each other on Lubyanka Square on December 15. Now, it up to people themselves to decide what to do on that day,” he said.

Earlier in the day, the city authorities offered three possible routes for the march, neither of them traversing Moscow’s central squares.
