Mi-8 helicopter went down near Lake Ritsa

MOSCOW, December 10 (Itar-Tass) — Four Russian border guards were injured when a helicopter of the Russian FSB’s Border Guard Service crashed in Abkhazia earlier on Monday, sources from the Abkhazian Border Guard Service told Tass.

They said the helicopter flying from the settlement of Aibga had to make a forced landing near Lake Ritsa because of malfunction. “The border guards got off with fractures, and luckily their lives are not in danger,” head of the Border Guard Service Zurab Marganiya said.
