MOSCOW, December 7 (Itar-Tass) – Police in Moscow have detained a car driver who got involved in a weird accident earlier in the day. The man had a quarrel with another driver, in the course of which he blew up the other man’s car.
A young woman passing by the quarreling drivers was injured, the press service of the Moscow City Interior Department said.
The incident occurred at 17:35 on Pervaya Kuryanovskaya Street in the southeast of the city.
“According to preliminary reports, a conflict broke out between the drivers of two Lada cars, and one of them eventually hurled an unidentified object at the opponent’s car, after which it caught blaze and blew up,” the press service said.
“The driver of the other car didn’t receive any injuries but a young woman passing by did,” the report said. “She was urgently rushed to hospital.”
The culprit of the incident got away from the spot of the crime in his car but policemen detained him soon after that.
At the time of reporting, he was being interrogated by police operatives.
