MOSCOW, December 3 (Itar-Tass) — Over 4,000 trucks got stuck on the M-10 (Rossiya) highway in Russia from Friday till early hours on Monday because of heavy snowfalls, sources from the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations told Tass on Monday.
“Starting from December 30 traffic has been disrupted at eight sections of M-10 in the Tver and Novgorod regions as a result of unfavorable weather conditions,” the sources said. .
The situation normalized by Monday morning and traffic flows unimpeded at the moment.
The M-10 highway links Moscow with Russia’s second biggest city of St. Petersburg.
