The World Franchise Forum and Moscow Franchise Expo 2018 will take place in Moscow on 30 May-1 June 2018. Both events are being organised by the Russian Franchise Association with the support of the Roscongress Foundation.
For the first time Russia will host such a business and expert event, welcoming representatives of associations, major companies and investors from more than forty countries from South-East Asia, Europe, North, Central and South America, and Africa.
The World Franchise Forum will bring together over six thousand participants to discuss the latest trends in franchising, training, networking and demonstrating new information and consulting services for entrepreneurs. Moscow Franchise Expo 2018 will also be a part of the Forum and will invite professionals from the franchise industry and representatives of Russian and foreign business.
Russian franchising demonstrates a consistent growth dynamics over the course of the past seven years: the number of enterprises grows by 15% annually. Today, Russia there are over 50 000 franchisees and about 1300 brands in Russia, 65% of which are of Russian origin.
"Dynamic development of national brands in the overall share of the franchising market makes it possible to see a great potential for entrepreneurship, especially in small and medium-sized businesses. We expect that Moscow Forum will mark the trajectory for the international cooperation and give a new impulse to business initiatives. We are also happy to showcase the achievements of our country in this area" – said Denis Manturov, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The World Franchise Forum will be supported by The Moscow City Government and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation.
