Roscongress Foundation and Association of Lawyers of Russia sign cooperation agreement

On December 3, 2016, as part of a gala event celebrating Lawyers’ Day, a cooperation agreement was signed by the Roscongress Foundation and the Association of Lawyers of Russia in the main hall of Lomonosov Moscow State University’s Main Library. CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev and Chairman of the Board of the Association of Lawyers of Russia Vladimir Gruzdev took part in the signing.

The parties agreed to collaborate in the following general areas: joint organization of and participation in topical forums, conferences, seminars, roundtables, and business meetings; participation in coordinating, advisory, expert, and other working committees; the launch of joint projects to share and implement best practices for developing the legal community; bilateral consultations; and participation in joint information activities.

“The agreement signed today is mutually beneficial and opens up new opportunities for its signatories. It will allow for cooperation in advocating for legislation and promoting a legal culture. It will also enable our partners to offer legal support and assistance to the international business conferences and forums held by the Foundation, which include the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), and the forum in Sochi”, noted Alexander Stuglev.

“I would like to thank the Roscongress Foundation for these joint efforts and for offering us the opportunity to take part in all the major forums held in the Russian Federation. For us, this is a much-needed and important platform, and I am certain that it will give members of the Association the opportunity to realize its potential”, underscored Vladimir Gruzdev.
