Dates announced for the third Yalta International Economic Forum in 2017

The Third Yalta International Economic Forum will take place on April 20-22, 2017. The venue for the event will be the Mriya Resort Hotel, Yalta. The Organizing Committee is now accepting applications from representatives of the business community wishing to attend the YIEF-2017.

It is expected that the Forum will bring together approximately 1,500 participants from more than 40 countries.

According to Andrey Nazarov, Co-chair of Delovaya Rossiya (Business Russia), and Co-chair of the Forum Organizing Committee, the YIEF is becoming a significant economic event, providing not only a platform for a wide-ranging overview of the investment opportunities and economic potential of the Republic of Crimea following its integration into the Russian Federation, but also for the discussion of relevant aspects of the economic development of the country as a whole: "The Forum's work makes it possible to define and set out the most essential measures for transforming the economy, steps aimed at fundamentally improving its performance and which are capable of bringing about the breakthrough results that are so necessary today.”

"A notable aspect of the YIEF-2017 will be the reinforcement of individual work with investors. To this end, a series of special meetings between business representatives and government authorities is being planned," said Sergey Lazutkin, Director of the Yalta International Economic Forum Foundation.

Both the business and cultural sides of the Forum programme have been considerably expanded, with the latter including sporting and entertainment programming.

The YIEF is organized by the Yalta International Economic Forum Foundation, established with the participation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea.
