- Marunouchi Bright Christmas 2015 "Christmas Circus Coming to Marunouchi" Nov. 12-Dec. 25; "Marunouchi Illumination 2015" to Kick off Nov. 12.
MITSUBISHI ESTATE CO., LTD. and Mitsubishi Jisho Property Management Co., Ltd. will hold "Marunouchi Bright Christmas 2015 'Christmas Circus Coming to Marunouchi' " in the Marunouchi district of Tokyo from November 12 to December 25. Even adults can enjoy this playful event, themed on "circus."
An ice skating rink will be established at Maru-Cube on the first floor of Marunouchi Building in collaboration with figure skater and 2014 Sochi Olympics gold medalist Yuzuru Hanyu. A life-size statue of Hanyu will be displayed at the rink. Visitors can enjoy skating on the rink decorated with an original Christmas tree. Part of admission fees will be used for post-disaster activities supported by Hanyu in the Tohoku region.
Moreover, the third-floor atrium of Shin-Marunouchi Building and other areas in Marunouchi will be decorated with Christmas trees and other ornaments, creating an fantastic atmosphere of "Christmas Circus."

An ice skating rink that looks like the main stage for a circus troupe will be established in Maru-Cube in collaboration with Hanyu. A life-size statue of Hanyu sitting on a bench and an original Christmas tree will be displayed at the rink, allowing visitors to enjoy skating in the atmosphere of the unique "Christmas Circus."
Open from 12:00-20:00(planned)
30 people can use the facility for 45 minutes(planned).
Fee: 500 yen(including the consumption tax, shoe rental fee & insurance premium)
*Those who wish to use the facility are required to get numbered tickets in advance.
The Christmas tree is lit up from 6:00 to 24:00
Lighting Show -Parisienne Walkways-
During the show, Hanyu's skating performance will be portrayed with light in tune with "Parisienne Walkways," a number that the athlete used for his short program in the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

Marunouchi Illumination 2015
The annual Marunouchi Illumination, which marks the 14th year in 2015, will be held in areas along Marunouchi Naka-dori, the main street in the Marunouchi district of downtown Tokyo, where employees of local companies and shops and office workers working in neighboring areas as well as visitors interact with one another. Approximately one million LED bulbs on about 200 trees along the street - stretching for about 1.2 kilometers and connecting Yurakucho and Otemachi - will light up Marunouchi in graceful "champagne gold," the district's signature color, in winter including the Christmas season.
