Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair 2015 to Take Place 4-7 June, 2015

YIWU, China, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair 2015 will take place at Yiwu International Expo Centre between 4-7 June, 2015. The event features five highlights: 1 The event is one of China's largest in its category.

Yiwu has successfully hosted the imported commodities fair for three consecutive years since 2012. With the 50,000-square-meter area being readied to house more than 1,800 booths, Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair 2015 is expected to attract 1,200 exhibitors, making the event one of China's largest in its category.

2 Most of exhibitors are from countries along the "One Belt, One Road" route.

In tandem with the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, recruitment efforts have been focused on maximizing the number of exhibitors from South Korea, Japan and countries along the "One Belt, One Road" route. The organizer of the event has received registration applications from over 1,000 manufacturers in South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, Americans, Central Asia, South Asia and other countries along the route, representing over 80 percent of the exhibitors.

3 Exhibition highlight is consumer goods from small and medium-sized foreign manufacturers.

Consumer goods from small and medium-sized foreign manufacturers, for the most part, are second and third-tier brands. Despite high quality, these consumer products lack smooth market access to China. Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair will combine source integrators to help foreign manufacturers show their products in China by facilitating issues concerning customs clearance, shipment, registration and booth arrangement. More than 100,000 kinds of foreign-made products will be on display at the event.

4 Outstanding exhibitors will establish a resident footprint in Yiwu.

The event will feature a long-term cooperation with Yiwu International Trade City, allowing exhibitors to establish a resident footprint in Yiwu. Outstanding exhibitors, which apply for retail space at the imported commodity zone of Yiwu International Trade City, will be entitled to rent concessions. Exhibitors interested in seeking a general agency of the mainland China could apply for exhibition of their products at the imported commodity zone free of charge.

Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair 2015 is the city's sole event featuring imported consumer products. In tandem with the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, the event focuses on second and third-tier brands from small and medium-sized manufacturers worldwide. The fair aims to become the best of its kind in China in the short run.
