MOSCOW, 25 March /SPIEF 2015/ -- St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Foundation and the non-governmental non-profit international organization Boao Forum for Asia will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation within the framework of the Boao Forum for Asia on 28 March 2015.
The document will be signed by Sergey Belyakov, Chairman of the Board of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Foundation (SPIEF), and Wu Jun, Executive Director of the Boao Forum for Asia, in the presence of Zhou Wenzhong, Secretary-General of the Boao Forum for Asia. Ceremony Moderator – Sergey Katyrin, Board Member of the Boao Forum for Asia, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian part of the BRICS and SCO Business Councils.
Amid the current international instability, the biggest business forums are confirming their commitment to partnership and strengthening of cooperation. The Memorandum builds on the principles of openness and freedom, as well as independence of business dialogue from geopolitical factors. Joint activities will be designed to promote mutually beneficial cooperation during the preparation for the two Forums.
Following the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Board of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Foundation Sergey Belyakov and Executive Director of the Boao Forum for Asia Wu Jun will speak about the cooperation between the Forums and answer questions.
