6,000+ International Air Traffic Management Professionals to Attend World ATM Congress

This offers an exceptional opportunity to learn about the latest products affecting the industry and make contact with key members of the ATM community from around the world

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Ana Maria Pastor Julian, Minister, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Spain, will officially open World ATM Congress 2015 on the morning of 10 March at IFEMA, Feria de Madrid. The award-winning event will run through 12 March and is expected to top last year's record attendance of 6,265 individuals representing the entire air traffic management (ATM) industry from around the globe. Pre-registration is significantly higher than last year – an indication of the value and benefits World ATM Congress provides the ATM community.

A record-breaking 200 leading organizations in the ATM industry will be represented at the free Exhibition. This offers an exceptional opportunity to learn about the latest products affecting the industry and make contact with key members of the ATM community from around the world. Four free Presentation Theatres will feature 104 sessions that showcase the latest products, while providing the opportunity to discuss the most recent trends and developments. In addition, the first WiMAX Aviation seminar held in Madrid will focus the development, growth, and operation of AeroMACS networks.

The conference programme on 10-11 March, Smart Choices in a Challenging Environment, will be comprised of three informative sessions which will explore how the ATM industry can make smart choices responding to the challenges of today and in the future. Keynote Speaker Peter Hartman, Vice Chairman, Air France-KLM, will lead an impressive roster of experts who will address the hard questions that will help shape the future of the industry.

World ATM Congress has grown in size and reputation, allowing it to keep the pledge it made three years ago at its inaugural event – to reduce costs as the quality continues to increase. Registration fees for the programme have reduced by nearly half, while the Exhibition remains free to all members of the industry.

The success of World ATM Congress is a result of constantly assessing the changing needs of the ATM community and responding with innovative solutions. This has been, in no small part, due to our organizers' experience producing the largest ATM event outside of Europe for 60 continuous years.
