YIWU, China, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- China Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair (Yiwu Cultural Fair), is the only foreign trade-oriented national exhibition in the cultural industry which is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, with 8 sessions having been held successfully.
Under the support and promotion of the Ministry of Culture, Yiwu Cultural Fair has taken the lead in transformation and upgrading. Effective starting the 9th session, the fair 's official name has been changed to China (Yiwu) Cultural Products Trade Fair ("Yiwu Cultural Fair"). With the objective of "being market-oriented, professional and international", it has paid more attention to economic trade and its effectiveness.
The 9th China (Yiwu) Cultural Fair was held on Apr. 27th-30th at Yiwu International Expo Center. Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, it adhered to the exhibition theme of "building a professional and international cultural products trade platform". This session, there were 2799 booths set up with 888 enterprises participating. Based on the ideas of "new formats, new technologies, new products, new concepts, new processes and new designs", this fair included a new cultural entertainment experience theme hall, cultural art fine works area, traditional cultural products area (paintings and sculptures), arts & crafts and intangible products area, cultural creative design area and other cultural products and services.
During the fair, several high-quality supporting activities were held: activities supporting youth cultural creative design talent by the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Finance, Authorization of Animation Derivatives, Yiwu·Beijing Art Design Poly Auction, Yiwu International Esports Tournament and China (Yiwu) Cultural Products Index Release.
The 9th China (Yiwu) Cultural Fair attracted 90,000 professional visitors, including over 6,000 overseas professional visitors and over 30 trade groups from over 100 countries and regions.
